Mary Grace has extensive experience working both overseas and across Australia. She specialises in multisensory learning and is trained to deliver programs including UFLI, Orton-Gillingham and Numicon Mathematics Intervention. Her approach is designed to help students who may find aspects of the traditional classroom challenging by providing engaging, explicit and individualised learning support.
-
Mary Grace and Luke find face-to-face instruction more effective for most students—particularly those with additional learning needs—because of the multi-sensory, hands-on nature of their teaching. Some students may be able to attend online sessions.
For online sessions, families may need to purchase specific hands-on materials for the student to use during lessons. Depending on the student’s age, learning needs, and level of independence, a parent or caregiver may also need to be present to provide support and act as a learning coach during the session.
Every student is different, and online learning will not suit everyone. Mary Grace and Luke are happy to discuss each student’s individual needs and determine whether online instruction is likely to be a good fit.
