Multi-Sensory Mathematics

I customise lessons to suit your child's learning style, utilising hands-on, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches to help them understand complex math concepts and develop a love for learning. With my specialised training, I focus on building conceptual understanding and enhancing problem-solving abilities rather than just memorisation.

For students needing general Mathematics support, I offer online and in-person options. Throughout the year, I have skill-focused individual or small group sessions for students who need specific support with concepts, such as addition and subtraction regrouping or multiplication.

Dyscalculia remediation (specialised tutoring) is different from regular Mathematics tutoring. My focus in these sessions is to address the root causes of the math difficulties and support students in building a solid mathematical foundation. Due to the multi-sensory nature of these intensive support sessions, I work with these students face-to-face. Rather than following a specific curriculum, which may not address the learner's unique needs, I design individualised interventions based on diagnostic findings. This means that sometimes the interventions may appear age-inappropriate since I may need to revisit concepts covered several grades ago, but haven’t been fully understood due to the Mathematics learning disability.
